For the Wedding, what are you doing about the invite wording??
Are you naming your parents anyway on them or just putting you and FH

Re: IF YOU BOTH ARE PAYING.....
I have to see what looks better.. we may say 'together with their parents'.. OR, I may say Larry and Dayna, daughter of Kathleen L (which she is helping a LOT) I just don't think his parents deserve to be on the invite in any way

Re: IF YOU BOTH ARE PAYING.....
I am putting our names first along with our parents after. My mom would get mad if I did not put her name on the invite even if she is not paying.

Re: IF YOU BOTH ARE PAYING.....
I don't know, I think we'll just avoid the issue altogether by using: The honor of your presence is requested at the marriage of my name and FH name date time location

Re: IF YOU BOTH ARE PAYING.....
Fh and I are paying for the majority but my parents mainly my mother would have a heart attack if its not the traditional way so they are inviting

Re: IF YOU BOTH ARE PAYING.....
We're paying for most of it ourselves so we didn't put the parent's names on it.

This is a good idea too! Avoid the headache all together

We are putting my parent's names on them. They are paying for 2/3 (we the other 3rd).

Re: IF YOU BOTH ARE PAYING.....
We are paying for almost all of it-by choice. We will absolutely have our parents names on our invites.

We're paying for the wedding, but still putting our parents names on the invite. They raised us and supported us our entire life. We feel that just because we're paying for our wedding, doesn't mean their names should be left off..........
