Registry Items

Hi ladies! 09er crashing!

I am working on my registry and I wanted to know what was the best item you received from your registry? Are there any items you registered for and received, but was so not worth it? (item broke, not worth it, still sitting in a box, etc?)

Thanks

Re: Registry Items

I got my kitchenaid mixer lol Since I am a baker, and I love to cook that was like the MUST have for me.

Other than that, I don't think there was anything that I didn't want. I only put on my registry items that I was able to see in the store and actually touch and feel. I only returned 2 items, and that was b/c they were both duplicates. :) If you put things that you KNOW your going to use, and actually see them in person, I don't know if you will have a problem with anything.

I was lucky, I didn't get alot of off registry items. Some people gave me cute things, like picture frames that I didn't register for, but they were still really cute.

Re: Registry Items

I actually barely got anything off my registry. For some odd reason people thought it would be better to get what THEY thought I'd want or need rather than what i asked for. I dunno why. So we're still missing a lot of stuff we need for the apartment.

But I was really happy about my TV Trays. lol. Those i was definitely hoping to get. Me & FH love watching movies while eating dinner some nights, so that was must

Things not worth it were all stuff not on my registry anyway

I have to say I got the steam mop and I LOVE IT! I have ceramic tiles in my bathroom and laminate wood floors in our living room, and it works wonders! By far the best gift I got at my shower, well next to all my luggage which I love!

Are salad spinners really worth it? I didnt register for one, but I did register for a salad chopper or something like that. I thought that looked cool.

#1 is hands down our Keurig coffee maker
#2 My Dyson- I put it on there just to have it there to get our 10% off- I didn't think anyone would get it but DH's friends chipped in for it.
#3 Kitchen Aid- Stand Mixer or Hand Mixer

Salad spinners are totally worth it. If you're worried about space, OXO makes a mini one that is good for 2 people.
