30th B'day Party Question

Would you go to Atlantic City for a friend's 30th birthday party? I know that I would, especially with advanced notice, but sometimes I feel like it might be too much to ask of people... like to travel and whatnot.

My plan is to throw a 30th B'day party in A/C for DH and spend the money for bottle service and tables and whatnot (so it can mitigate some of the cost for our guests). But is it too much to ask? Should I do a temperature check with his friends before I go into planning mode?

I would check with the people who he would most want there. I can see some people saying yes right off the bat and meaning it cause your DH is a special person to them. But I can also see some people just saying yes cause it sounds fun but will back out in the end.

i would definately check with people before you go ahead and plan anything and then not have anyone show up

Personally, with advance notice I know Kieran and I would def do something like this for a close friend's 30th! Thirty is a huge birthday (I LOVE BEING 30) and I'd imagine most close friends would totally be down for a fun night away!
