we had talked about doing a big trip , but the time came and went and we didn't go!

but we did celebrate our anniversary at dinner and ate the top of our cake!

the next day we had a bbq and had invited everyone to join us to celebrate in good times!

We have done an annual vacation w/a group of friends during the month of July the past few yrs. This year, obviously, we didnt do it so we are thinking about joining them again for next year. If we do that than I think for our actual wedding weekend we might go to Cape Cod for a long weekend. If we dont do the vacation w/friends than maybe DH & I will do a cruise. I am hopefully going to be preggo at that time so our vacation will def be dependent on that situation.

we have lots of trips planned this year, so i don't think we will be going away unless its to stay at my parents new vaction house in FL.

we will probably defrost the cake and be too grossed out to eat it... then that was our 'go time' to start trying to make a baby!
seriously tho...we will probably go out for a nice dinner!

I want to do B-pics for both myself (self esteem ) and for him.

But I'd also like to go away somewhere...even just a few days away at a local-ish place is cool with me!

We were going to go away somewhere like Jamaica or DR for our anniversary in November, but I was too eager and wanted to go in July, so DH refused to take another big trip and take vacation. We are probably going to do a weekend in Newport, RI instead. Then for our 2 year anniversary I've already locked in an agreement to go to Couples Swept Away in Jamaica...in a beachfront bungalo...can't wait for that.

I would love to do something cool, but I doubt it will happen. We're awful with getting things planned, and never want to spend money. I hope that we at least remember the date, because we have yet to remember to celebrate our dating anniversary (after 7 years).

We went for burgers at this awesome place, then we went bowling (what we did on our first date), then to the arcade (where I made a singing CD for DH of Edwin McCain's I'll Be), then we went to dinner at a restaurant with a great view of the Tappan Zee bridge, then we came home and watched True Blood, ate our year old cake which was SOOO yummy b/c of the super packing my mom did, and then we had shots of whisky (a bottle one of Dh's customers gave him)



it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to Disney to celebrate our Anniversary. First we are going to a wedding in Austin TX for the weekend then on to WDW!!!!! We will not be staying on property this year as we were given a week in a time share so we are taking the free lodging!!! We leave in 2 months and 3 days and I can not wait!!!

we would like to do a 1 year anniversary trip but we have to see about our finances. we saved our cake and DH insists on eating it on our first anniversary

We were going to go to Aruba but it's just too expensive

So instead we are going to Riviera Maya in Mexico! We're gonna stay at an All Insclusive with an anniversary package. I can't wait -we leave a week from today!!!

I'm just nervous it wont be everything I wanted it to be and b.c of all the crime, kidnapping news.
