It wasn't even planned, but I just love how we are looking at each other

I love these. (Notice the comb falling out of my hair)
I love the way my Nephew is looking at us in this one. It reminds me of how sweet he was that day! Normally I get the 16 year old 'I'm so cool and you're old Aunt JoAnne' look he usually gives me!
This has a meaning all of it's own. My Brother-in-law gave me away. He says I had a death grip on his hand.

I have a bunch my wedding had way to many meaningful moments. 1. Is mine and my dad's feet. When i was 5 i would dance on his feet and we promised when i got married we would do it then as well. 2&3 are me and my aunt who passed away 3 weeks after my wedding she had teminal cancer and promised she live to be at my wedding. She was leaving to go home and duet caught our goodbye. 4. My DH sister almost died in a car crash a year ago, she was in a coma for 3 months and was not expected to live let alone dance with her brother at our wedding.

I know here are a few more. 1. My grandma had passed away 6 month before i met my DH and she knew one day i would be getting married so she had my mother write me a note for my wedding day. My mother gave me the letter from my grandmother that morning at the beauty palor along with my grandma's blue rose hanky. I cried like a baby.
2. JT and i were watching our god children run around and were talking about having kids of our own when eric snaped the shot.
3 OUr first dance. Jt was telling me how happy he was and how much he was enjoying the day and i was crying.

Here are just a few...
the first are my niece and nephew. He was so sick that day he could barely make it down the aisle as my RB. He and his sister have their disputes, but she is just being so sweet to him here.
next is DH dancing with his sister
then me as I placed the ring on his finger
and us outside the reception just catching our breath

Here are mine-the first is me looking at Steve at the alter, I think it captures how I felt. The second is us kissing before we leave the church, the third is our first dance, and the last is a pin my grandmother who died in September left for me, it was worn against my heart the whole day, and I know she was with me.
Re: Another pic thread....post your most meaningful pic
This was after we were pronounced husband and wife. It was so meaningful b/c its the first time we got to speak and tell each other I love you, since during Greek Orthodox ceremonies you do not exchange vows or talk at all:
we honored our parents at the reception and gave a speech/toast. Their reaction always gets me! My parents:
DH and his brother (the best man) after giving the first toast , it was the most amazing speech ever:
This was our spotlight dance. It was more emotional for me than our first dance because it really sunk in I was DH's wife

FeliciaDA Thanks my wedding couldn't have come at a better time. Me and DH had been through hell and back during the past 5 years we have been together. Between his siters accident, my aunts health and a ton of other things it was our day of fresh air and smiles. It gave both sides of the family a touch of heaven. I loved how all of our family members that had past had some sort of way of saying hello that day. I look back and can do nothing but smile at all of the happy memories i have from that day. Duet was on the ball with capturing every moment nothing went missed. That's why i posted so many pics because i couldn't pick just one.

DH sent me 2 dozen roses the morning of our wedding.
My something old...a wedding picture of my grandparents. Grandpa passed away and grandma was too sick to be at the wedding. This was one way to keep them with me. (Unfortunately, grandma passed two months later.)
The first time we saw eachother...
My mother and brother gave me away...
Like Jann...we too had a cell phone so grandma could hear from the hospital room...
Our mothers came up to help light the unity candle...unifying both families...
The hands ceremony...
Our first dance
Mom's reaction to our first dance
The Hora...
My brother took over the mic...and transformed himself into Rob Base!
Mom, SIL and her future grandson!
