I must be getting my period but I am getting so sad looking at all of these awesome trips you all have planned! Obviously, I am excited for you ladies, but I SO wish that DH and I could afford a nice vacation. Are we the only poor bastids out here?

I would at least try to go on a cheapie vacay... like what we're trying to do... Its needed for our sanity... most of our tax refund is being spent on the house, but i told DH that SOME of it needs to go towards something fun... And Im looking at it like, 'lets do it now as much as we can before a baby comes into the pic anhd changes EVERYTHING' KWIM?

we are going on a vacation but only bc it's practically free - I'm using miles for the tickets and we are staying with my mom (who did a house exchange to stay in Italy) so we only have to pay for food -
we almost didnt do it bc DH doesnt have a job (BOOO) but we thought it might be our last chance before since we are going to start trying soon

what about trying to go somewhere that you can drive to?? Then look into inexpensive hotels...so you have atleast a small get away
