Wow, that is a really great idea. Thanks for posting. I may just do this, as I don't plano n having children, and even if I did, I would want her to have one of her own lol

I originally wanted to keep mine, but I know it won't be worn ever. It would be too hard to try to sell so I figured donating it would make someone very happy. Besides, it's a nice tax write off!

wow i'm now considering this. it would be nice to keep it and i hope my (hopefully future) daughter would wear it but if someone could get use and joy out of it now it would be a great gift to give

nice to know. I wont donate mine though- its an heirloom. I have a couple BM dresses I could donate though...

I've donated BM dresses to Operation Fairy Dust. I plan on forwarding the info on to my girls. I doubt any of them plan on keeping their dresses.
