Band poll - Sorry if you're always asked this!

Hi and congratulations!

My FH and I are having trouble deciding on the type of band to have. I want a carribean band however he doesn't. I really don't want a typical 'wedding band ' but I do love a band with horn players!

So I just wanted to ask you girls which band you used and if you loved them or not (I hope it's a yes!) and why type of music it was. Of course the price would be helpful too or maybe you could FM me.

Thank you sooo very much - it's become an issue and I'm just hoping we can find some way of compromising but of course I will have to do all the research

If you do a search on bands there are tons of posts about price and which bands most of us have used. Carribean band- IMO that is a limited band that will only play towards a small amount of your guests. Why not do that type of music for the cocktail hour? I don't know what type of band you are looking for but 'regular' is not a bad band. Most bands play a variety of music- to give all of your guests a good time.
