Bee question

Bee question

I keep finding bees in my kitchen, yeah go figure. I guess they don't realize they should be gone. We looked everywhere and can't find the hive. They are only in the kitchen and mostly near death, except the one that flew into DH's head I came home tonight to find one in the sink. Now there was like 4 or 5 others DH just killed. It is getting worse. I have a dog and can't just bomb plus my kid will be here this weekend and I don't need her stung. Where would they hide? Checked under the cabinets, sink, in the window sills, behind the stove, under the cabinets. I just looked under the sink, taking everything out. TIA

Those sneaky little suckers!! They probably like how warm your house is. Did you look in the window panes? They seem to love mine!

Maybe you can call an exterminator and see what he can use that will not be toxic to your dog or your children?

The funny thing is the kitchen is so small. I can't imagine they have a place to hide. There was one flying in there this morning. I am pertrified on them too. I told DH we are going hold on the rent and the landlord needs to take care of this today. There was a few over the past 2 or 3 weeks but the last few days have been really bad. Great, I just found one flying in the bedroom as I was typing this and DH is at work. Turns out there is one dead in there already too. Yikes, the bees are attacking !!!!!!!!

Re: Bee question

Did the nest recently get sprayed ?? b/c it sounds famillar to what happend to me and DH!

This happened to us in our apartment. The nest was inside the wall but the bees were coming in from the outside. So the exterminator (Genius) sprays the nest inside the wall and closes up the entrance. Guess where they're left to go? IN OUR APARTMENT then would fall down and crawl out through the heating baseboard. TOTAL Nightmare!!! DH had to kill about 40/50 bees all night long!

The same exact thing just happened to my friend and it was in her siding of her house. She called an exterminator , she has a child they said they spray only behind things and places children & dogs do not get to.
Poor thing has to rip down her siding cause it was so bad!

No spraying was done recently. don't see a nest anywhere. I would have been hiding if that many bees came in!

That stinks. I rent at least. The rent is due today, but he won't be seeing it until he takes care of or I will call an exterminator and deduct from the rent. We live in a cottage behind the landlord. We told them last night. He saw me b4 but thought we weren't home cause DH has car at work. There was 3 bees in there today. Yesterday, I had to buy coffee because I wasn't going back in there. I was washing dishes today and I keep spraying antibacterial stuff on the one in the window, hoping he would let me finish washing the dishes while the other is stuck up in the light bulb, not sure if he died in there. When I was done, I saw there was one in the sink. It is so stressful.
