bring back leftovers w/poll

If you go out to eat and you have a food leftover, do you take the rest to go?

I had a friend who in school who I would go out to eat with and she would never take her leftovers to go- even when she had like 70% of it left over. I love leftovers so I always take mine unless its something that won't keep. I was just curious what others thoughts were on this. And Im bored...

I would say almost all the time we have left overs (that meaning it was my food because dh cleans his plate). Usually the next day dh will eat it though. I really dont like the taste of leftovers. Honestly I think it is mental.

ya my friend said she refuses to eat leftovers so thats why she wouldnt take them. LOL sometimes me and the other roommates would get hers to go for us to eat- especially since it was when we lived in a dorm. But even now and growing up I always took my leftovers to go. I am against waasting food so i think thats also part of it!

I always take it home if it will stay good (pasta, chicken, etc). Salad and wraps I usually don't b/c they get soggy

hell's yeah i take it home. if i'm paying like $20 for a meal that i could probably make at him for $7 -- you bet i'm taking what i don't finish with me to go!

We always bring it home. I tend to eat maybe 25% of what I order and that is always DH's lunch for the next day. (I hate leftovers)

me too.

btw: soggy wraps + toaster oven = good as new! I seriously put everything in the toaster oven; my coworkers think i'm weird

I ALWAYS bring it home. I take home my friends' food too. I'll always eat it the next day too.

I love food so much I hate to see it go to waste.

Depends where we're going but yea usually do! I was raised to take whatever wasn't nailed down!

Yup we bring it home - - no mattter how much is left. The catsare now EXPECT ING a hand out on the weekends when we come back from dinner.

The one little one loves mashed potatoes and PEAS!!

Yeah I wouldn't take a salad, the only other time would be if we're out and we're not going home (on vacation or something)....

hell to the yea. growing up I swear if I left one strand of spaghetti it would go into a clean container ( like country crock ) and I would have to eat it the next day! No food goes in the garbage ever - I bring everything home.

DH thinks its so embarassing, he dies when I do it LOL Oh well he eats it too

I ALWAYS take my leftovers home. I love to have it for lunch in a day or two. DH will take his home also but he rarely eats it. I end up throwing it out a week or so later. If I like what he ordered, I'll have it for lunch.
