Okay how dare he ask you if you enjoyed the show. Hes the fu ckin RINGLEADER of the show. He started the whole thing. This wouldnt be happening if it werent for him does he even get that?!
I AGREE but he thinks I am only embarrassing myself 'by letting people know our business.' Whatev. Like I'm going to just sit & take it. I don't f*cking think so.
Ok normally I don't chime in but I feel this time I will. Not for nothing but you are embarrassing yourself. You tell a public forum these details of your private life, which right now is a mess. Then you sit back and just let is roll out. If your marriage counselor 'fired' you, which is odd in it self, then why in the world stay with this man? I have to be honest and say you love this drama. No one in the world would just sit there and deal with heart ache time and time again if they didn't.

I do not think she is emabarassing herself, sometimes people need to get out what they are feeling, and yes its a public forum, but its a great place to vent and share frustrations and heartaches.

yikes. i wouldnt jump to conclusions (or insult someones reasons for handling the situation like they are). we dont know the whole story and we're not in her shoes. until you are, you don't really know what you'd do. and maybe caroline needs a place to vent (sorry to speak for you caroline).
we all have very diff comfort levels for what we'll share on here, which is fine. there are certain places id never go and things i feel fine with. to each his/her own.
thats like me assuming you love drama and youre lookin for it by posting this.

well 'i dont normally chime in' on drama, but WOW. are u kidding??? if YOU wouldn't want to post ur private life in a public forum that's fine, but some us need a place to vent...and u shouldn't jump to conclusions and say someone 'must love the drama' in their life just because they need a place to talk..ESPECIALLY when it's involving something as serious as a divorce. wow..i'm really taken back.i have no words.
Caroline - we love you. i know u don't need to be told this, but dont listen to stupid sh*t like this.. feel free to talk about ANYTHING u need to..we are all here for you!

Well, Caroline is being a genuine human being and venting to us. I know what it is like to have no friends so I use this board to vent too ( not saying that is the case with her ). So, that was just mean and ignorant and unnecessary. You took a place where she felt safe in sharing with all of us and made it ugly - I don't think that is fair.

Do you often see me post? Cause I'm confused here... Basically I never do. But this is why we have friends in our lives to vent to them. I FEEL that posting on a public forum is ridiculous about personal issues that we don't want to or can't address ourselves. Say what you wish on how I worded things, that's ok in my book. I see it that if you really were confused or disoriented about something, there would be different ways of dealing. As for being in her shoes... Well you all don't know one thing about me so you will never know if I ever was or wasn't...BECAUSE I don't post my issues on the web I deal with them through family, my faith and my friends. That's what gets me through.
I figured I would be attacked for saying what many others feel.

To me, this is a safe forum. None of you know who I am. You don't know my last name. You don't know where I live. You have never met me. You never will. I live in another state. You won't run into me at the market or find anyone who knows me. So to ME, this is a safe place for me to vent. Telling my family about all this will only upset them. Venting to his family is unfair and unwise. I also have a one year old. Its much easier for me to type what I think about my husband that to say it in front of her.
I don't know if you have children yet, but if/when you do & God forbid you are in position, its a lit harder to throw win the towel.
As far as 'loving this drama' my marriage is falling apart, think rationally. Do you really think I ENJOY this? I am about to be a single mother. I have to face my family & friends and tell them I married the wrong man. I have to raise a kid on my own and possibly never remarry. I have to start my life all over again. None of this is fun. Maybe my posts are funny, but I am not having fun. I am trying to make light of a very dark time in my life. I need to make myself laugh.
I cry EVERY DAY. EVERY DAY. Hysterically. Yesterday, I had to pull the car over because I was crying so hard that I couldn't see & I couldn't breathe. I was sobbing harder that I ever have. Does it sound like I love this drama to you? Be fair. Think about it. How would you feel if you were me. Be fair. Don't kick me while I'm down.

caroline, why are you hanging out with this man?
I don't condone what he did with the *other* woman, but maybe she didn't know...
if anything your SIL should have embarrased HIM... not her.
should you have proof she knew he was unattached, then your SIL's actions seem justifyable. what you SIL did was extremely childish and immature.
Your husband is the one who should made to feel like an outsider and I don't why you're still with him after all you have told us.

um.. last time I checked we are in a public Form she can say what she feels just as Caroline expresses how she feels. If you put it out there for all to know your bound to get these kind of reactions..
I am just sayin...

I'm sorry - and what 'poll' did you take recently that says what you feel is 'what many others feel'?
I have to disagree - looks like you're in the minority.
If you have nothing nice, supportive or constructive to say, pi$$ off.

I'm not 'with him.' I'm trying to get a divorce. I retained a lawyer. I working on it. He hasn't yet agreed to mediation or divorce. I am trying to do this gently and gracefully as we have a baby involved. These things take time.

that's what gets YOU through...and posting here is what gets CAROLINE through. we're all different. what u said was mean and unneccesary and completely uncalled for for the situation. i'm not saying apologize for what you said, because u obviously dont care. but atleast realize that u didn't need to say it, and the way u did say it wasn't right.
Posted by leafgirl I figured I would be attacked for saying what many others feel.
Guess u love drama too being that 'u figured u'd be attacked' and said it anyway??? c'mon now..
i know it's a public forum and everyone can post their reactions and how they feel but there's a WAY to say things...and judging someone that's going through something as heartbreaking as caroline is?? well.u just shouldn't. 'nuff said.

Caroline you know I love you! But iwth that said I totally get this post. I understand venting....but this is a regular thing-he does something you come on and vent-like we all do. But to post a rant about this and how you are crying your eyes out, etc. then you are going to see a lawyer but now you are going to BBQs? Im confused-what do you want from him? It seems like he is doing everything he can to push you away and show you he doesnt care yet you stay and act like everything is honky dory. I understand you want to work it out but over the past year this is all we have heard of your relationship-nothing nice....at least if you did I dont remember it (sorry for that) but naturally we all jump to your defense and support you but then you make us wonder w t f happened that you are spending time with his family and friends after he made you out to look like an asss? Im sorry but yes in that situation regardless (go SIL) you do look like an asss-its like the boy who cried wolf and that is what is 'feels' like since its almost like that whole convo just disappeared. Im not trying to get on you-im really not so P LEASE dont take it that awy.
I understand that Ella is involved...no I dont have children and the worst thing parents can do is stay under one roof when they do not love each other. Ella can sense that, you dont even need to be fighting for her to know what is going on-and later in life she will despise both of you for it. My parents seperated and it was the best thing they ever did-I STILL over 20 years later remember them hating each other and staying together for the sake of children. That is just not a good enough excuse. She is going to think in the future when she is older that that kind of behavior from a man is ok the more you let her see it.
I have to agree withBeth, it does seem like this has become a joke-everyone aske dif you were ok for days and checked in with you....you were no where to be found-then you post a pic off of Perez and still dont update those around you who are truly wondering and worried about your well being?

I know exactly how I would feel, I would get out for the sake of my child. I guess you never had divorced parents. Take it from one that has, staying is never ok. Even if she is young, she knows the tension. I do not have children but I am wise beyond my years. I would never cry every day and not do anything about it. Don't think that no one knows who you are on here. WE all have someone who knows us through someone else. Trust me on that one. You need to get help for yourself and your daughter. You married the wrong man, so what I am sure someone else will come along and be better for you. But it's time that you take some action to get help for you. Crying and being sad over it is understandable. Who the heck wouldn't be, but you have to understand that coming on LIW to vent about it to strangers, you may come across one stranger that has just heard enough of the crying and not doing anything of it. I guess this is myself. Sorry. I am not trying to kick you when you are down, I am trying to show you an outsiders opinion without sugar coating it. This is how I am to all that is in my life and it's very much appreciated. I think you need to take a step back.

understandable... I have a child.. I understand how hard it can be... but as someone who was a single mother for years, I assure you-- you can do it.
I'm just miffed at the way your SIL handled the situation when it's obvious your DH (probably) didn't tell this girl he was married. Instead, she created tension that you didn't need.
Of course if I am wrong, and she knew about you... then I apologize.
great job on bringing the dramZ though... I can;t imagine how crazy that was...
