Just curious...with the economy the way it is I heard on the radio that a lot of comanys are either cutting down or not giving christmas bonuses at all...How many of you know if you are getting one this year or none at all?

I usually get a pretty big bonus every year. Not sure what the situation will be this year. Our company usually pays bonuses on the 15th, but they sent out an email last week saying bonuses won't be paid til the 31st this year. Everybody is kinda bummed about it, no one knows what to expect this year.

Forget bonus. My job owes me 375 dollars and they wont tell us when were getting it. And it will be more after this week.

I chose other. We get bonuses every year, this year it is 35% less than last year. No raises for 2009, but at least I still have my job...so no complaints here...plus, my boss usually takes care of me on the side from his own pocket...so hopefully his check won't be 35% lower too...

We dont really get a bonus But my compnay is closed from 12/24/08 - 01/05/09 so time off is our bonus

I wish I was getting a christmas bonus...but I don't think unemploment gives them..
Doubt Dh will get one because he just started this job a month ago. He usually didn't get one at his old jobs either because he was management.
