Collage Thank You cards?

I am trying to work on my thank you cards, and my photographer does not do a collage card, only one pic. I feel like I can do this myself in Powerpoint or Photoshop...is that crazy? I figure if I get them professionally printed no one will be able to tell that I did them. Has anyone ever done this, or knows if I can have another studio make them for me? Problem is, I dont have the negatives, so anything will be a scan off the picture-which will not be as clear...any ideas?

Adrienne,

I did get them done and I was very happy with the collage itself. What I didn't like was that it was not done it glossy paper but I had gotten sooooo many calls on how beautiful my thank you cards were.

I have to check the name of the website that did them for me. They weren't expensive at all.

You know if you have the time you can also do them yourself. On powerpoint or publisher.

The website I did it under was Customshots.com. I did everything through email. I scan the photos sent them to the lady, in 2 days she emailed me the sample. Any changes you would tell her (I didn't make any because I like them the 1st time). Everything was quick and simple.

Yes - you can definitely do it in photoshop. You dont need the negatives as long as you get a good scan.

were you really pleased? did you have to send her negatives or just your proofs?

All I did was scan the the proofs for her on a high resolution. I was pleased with the image but as I said she doesn't use glossy paper for the cards. Maybe that is something you can request. Also don't get the smallest card that she offers I would got a step up. Other than that all my guest loved the TY's and we got many beautiful comments on them. So I was very happy with Diane's work.
