I hope its not too tacky to do this, but I'd rather have a pre-printed message and write something extra for certain family members & close friends. If I have to hand write all of them it will take me forever!!!
if anyone else did this, can you share what message you had printed on the inside?

We put a pre printed message 'Thank you for sharing our special day with us' and then wrote a handwritten note in each one as well. I wish that I hadn't put any pre-printed note though because I have to send thank you's to people who gave us a gift but couldn't attend, so the message doesn't apply.

Nope, I have to handwrite them all MIL got pissy when I told her I was going to have them pre-printed...she said it was rude and nast...and if that was what I intended on doing I could mail the pre printed ones to my guests and hand write the ones to her guests b/c the issue I guess to her was my family was less classy then hers not that I didnt want to write out 100 friggin cards

No i hand wrote all of mine, personalized each one, and really put time into them even though it took a while. I recieved a pre-printed TY card once, and it didnt really do anything for me, just didnt feel personal or that they cared that we came to their wedding. This is only my opinion though.

Not sure what I want to do yet but I was thinking of a short pre-printed message and then room to add in whatever we want to say-- knowing DH like I do I'll end up sitting and writing all of them out like I did for my bridal shower. But I think my family wouldn't forgive me if I just did a pre-printed message.
