We both do but it really doesn't matter to me at all. Tom told me before he even moved in that he never wants the bathroom door open ever. He likes a little mystery lol!!!

It's so funny, he just said this to me the other day. He always shuts (and usually locks) the door (out of habit I guess). I shut it but not all the way. The other day I was in there and he opened it and said 'You have to S..H..U..T the door when you go to the bathroom' (in a making fun of me voice).

I always do, of course, but on occasion he will do #1 and not...such a male thing to do...

Same here- I would never go in front of him though. I always remeber indecent proposal with Demi Moore on the toilet, if she looked that unnatractive I can't imagine how I look!!

for showering - i leave it slightly open. DH is adamant that the door must be closed at ALL times, regardless of what people are doing!!

Karen I am with your husband but it seems my DH is starting to leave the door open more and more every month we are married. I know one of his sister's the whole family does not shut the door unless company is over. IMO- that is a private matter that should be done behind closed doors, just gotta see if I can get DH to understand this!!

very rare occassions do we close it if we are alone...I guess if we don't want to be bothered...lol

I have a bad habit (from childhood) of sneaking up to bathroom doors...opening the door and then running...(my poor sister - in our bathroom you couldn't reach the door from the toilet..

) I started doing this to John...and he has been locking a few times

This is quite disgusting when using it and not closing the door. We both close the door to the bathroom. Of course, we don't lock it while we shower since we only have one bathroom. Privacy is important and we must respect that.
