Do you still wear E-Ring?

do you still wear your engagement ring?

i switch on and off - sometimes i wear just my wedding band - i love it alone - i feel like it looks so simple and elegant.....

then sometimes i wear both my e-ring and wedding band together - but together its a little much and i dont like anything that looks very gawty, thats not my style, i like simple jewelry....but if we are going out somewhere like to a party or to dinner i wear both and sometimes i wear both to work too depending on my mood .....like today i have on both

i wonder if i'll stop wearing my ering less often as time goes on.....i notice that the longer people are married the less they wear their engagement ring - i know for me, when i have kids i'll probably stop wearing it for awhile b/c its dangerous my diamond is in a high setting and it gets in the way and can probably take out a baby's eyeball i know this from experience with my godson - i can't wear it when handling him hahahaha - now that he is 2.5 its not so bad, but as a baby it was dangerous and i was always worried i'd hurt him with it - same thing with his Mom, she never wore hers when he was a baby - now i notice she has been wearing it again....

I always wear my e-ring... I feel naked if I dont. I tried to wear just my wedding band, and it just did not feel right.

You are right about when it comes to having a baby, but I will cross that bridge when I get to it, but for now, I will be wearing both.

Now that I drive to work I wear both daily. The only times that I dont wear both is if it rains (I feel like the E-Ring will slip out). When I go food shopping, laundry etc I just wear my wedding band. Whenever I leave the country I just wear the band.

I wear both...I just love my e-ring too much to not! I would sometimes like to wear it on my right hand, cause like you, I love my wedding band by itself too...but right now, with the weight I've gained since the wedding, my e-ring won't fit over my fat fingers on my right hand So, til this extra chub is gone, it's staying on my left!

I used to always wear my e-ring, but my insurance on it ended on new years eve and I have to get it appraised to go on our homeowners- so I have been scared to wear it.

I really like wearing just my band- it looks so much simpler and elegant

see that is what i like too, simple and elegant - my wedding band is simple, it has diamonds but its plain nothing crazy and i love it.....my ering is simple too, its a solitaire, but my stone is on the large side so when you pair it with my wedding band i feel like it looks like too much - especially when im wearing something like a sweatoufit

id be scared to wear mine without insurance too though!

Yes. my wedding band was made to fit around my ering, so if i don't wear it, it looks funny. I want an eternity band for our 5 year anny. once i get that, i'll prolly only wear that.

Same here, I wear both daily but I wear them on different hands. It is just too much to wear them together. My e-ring is a high setting with side stones and my wedding band has 3 rows of diamonds with princess, baguette and round stones so if i put them together it is just too much. I love my e-ring so i just wear it on my other hand. The only time I dont wear it is if I am cleaning. When I go away on vacation I usually just wear my wedding band.

I wear both. Two weeks ago, I had to get the ering sized so I was without it for a few days, and I dont think it looked right. The bands are very thin and match, so i dont think it looks like much. IDK if i'd ever just wear the band

I tried not wearing it once and it felt weird. It's also is a little big so when I wear my e-ring it keeps it from slipping because I had those balls placed on the band, from the last scare I had of losing my ring.
I do love the way an eternity band looks, so hopefully one day I will be wearing just that.

Me too, I just have to wear both. It feels weird just wearing my wedding band. But its true, as time goes by I have noticed women just wear their engagement ring. Im sure that will happen to me eventually.

this is exactly how I feel. I could never not wear my e-ring. Plus it completes the look. My wedding band looks nice by itself but with the ering on it makes that stand out a little more and I love the look.

Plus it feels weird without my ering on. And this may sound stupid but I feel if I just wear my wedding band people might think it's just a promise ring or something since I am young and look young.
