do you still wear your engagement ring?

i switch on and off - sometimes i wear just my wedding band - i love it alone - i feel like it looks so simple and elegant.....

then sometimes i wear both my e-ring and wedding band together - but together its a little much and i dont like anything that looks very gawty, thats not my style, i like simple jewelry....but if we are going out somewhere like to a party or to dinner i wear both and sometimes i wear both to work too depending on my mood .....like today i have on both

i wonder if i'll stop wearing my ering less often as time goes on.....i notice that the longer people are married the less they wear their engagement ring - i know for me, when i have kids i'll probably stop wearing it for awhile b/c its dangerous my diamond is in a high setting and it gets in the way and can probably take out a baby's eyeball i know this from experience with my godson - i can't wear it when handling him hahahaha - now that he is 2.5 its not so bad, but as a baby it was dangerous and i was always worried i'd hurt him with it - same thing with his Mom, she never wore hers when he was a baby - now i notice she has been wearing it again....

I can't imagine not wearing both. My mom has always worn the both of her's, so I guess for me it's weird not to see both of them on. PLus I love the way my e-ring and wedding band look together . The only time I take both rings off is to go to the gym...it's hard to do weights with them on.

I always wear my e-ring on the outside of my wedding band. My wedding band is a tiny bit loose so my e-ring keeps it from slipping off.

I always wear my engagement ring. I ahve 2 wedding bands so someimtes I wear all 3 together and sometimes I just wear the e-ring and band husband bought me.

I love how my band looks alone so lots of times I either don't wear my e-ring at all, or wear it on my right hand. I also have a plain band that I wear sometimes instead. When I get dressed up, I often wear my e-ring.

I think i will ALWAYS wear both rings. My finger just feels so naked without them. Also though, my rings are not overly gaudy at all. They're very simple & elegant, so putting them together just makes it really pretty, certainly not overdone. I think if I had a really flashy e-ring though, then I'd probably just wear the wedding band on a regular basis.

I wear both my rings every day. I do take them off when I get home because I don't want to mess them up while I am cooking or cleaning. And I definitely don't wear them in the shower or to bed. I feel naked without them at this point.

the only time my E-Ring ever comes off is when i shower(because i have a fear of my diamond somehow coming out going down the drain lol) and when i wash my face at night(i use a fairly thick scrub)...other than that the only other time is when i have to REALLY use my hands for dinner(ie: making meatballs & having to really use my hands with the raw meat ). I love my rings & everything the symbolize plus i'm in LOVE with my ring...definetly my dream ring & i love getting compliments on them all day long lol i think it's just become habit to leave them on too...i sleep with them, wash my hands with them, etc. etc. etc... neither of them ever come off! i feel naked..like i'm missing something(which i am!) when i don't have it on..
