i switch on and off - sometimes i wear just my wedding band - i love it alone - i feel like it looks so simple and elegant.....
then sometimes i wear both my e-ring and wedding band together - but together its a little much and i dont like anything that looks very gawty, thats not my style, i like simple jewelry....but if we are going out somewhere like to a party or to dinner i wear both and sometimes i wear both to work too depending on my mood .....like today i have on both
i wonder if i'll stop wearing my ering less often as time goes on.....i notice that the longer people are married the less they wear their engagement ring - i know for me, when i have kids i'll probably stop wearing it for awhile b/c its dangerous my diamond is in a high setting and it gets in the way and can probably take out a baby's eyeball i know this from experience with my godson - i can't wear it when handling him hahahaha - now that he is 2.5 its not so bad, but as a baby it was dangerous and i was always worried i'd hurt him with it - same thing with his Mom, she never wore hers when he was a baby - now i notice she has been wearing it again....

yeah its weird, i noticed that a lot of people stop wearing it as time goes on.....i try to wear it a few times a week - i dont want to stop wearing it but to wear it everyday seems like a little too much now - i guess because i am more of a plain jane when it comes to jewelry....when i get home from work i take off the ering and keep just the wedding band on - DH hasn't said anything about it - im surprised, i thought he might be insulted that i dont wear it as often....but i think he likes my wedding band alone as well....he is a simple guy too i guess...

i still wear both and probably always will.... but i have a low setting because i work with my hands and didnt want a ring that would get in the way... so even with a baby i think i will still wear it

haha yeah it's true. i mean yesterday i went to go get a bottle of wine at the store and the guy was checking my id up and down and i said YEA it's me. He was like what year were you born in?! I had to show him another form of identification. I mean I cut my hair short but only up to my shoulders and my ID looks like me I don't get it. I even said 'buddy I am a married woman.' and he laughed at me

Me too, Im sure eventually I will stop wearing it but right now I still love it too much to stop. Plus DH spent so much money on it that I would hate to already stop wearing it.

I was wearing them on the same hand but my mom said its too gawdy and a cple of my friends did also I have an eternity band so with my ring it is a little much...but I LOVE big jewelery so I dont care
I ALWAYS wear my ering and band though, just sometimes I wear them seperate, sometimes together

I wear my e-ring on my right hand and my wedding band on my left or I will wear just my wedding band or e-ring on my left hand and a totally diff ring on my right hand. One ring in each ring finger.

i wore my e-ring everyday for the year and a half that we were engaged. After we got married i started wearing just the wedding band. It feels so clunky with both and i'm so aware of it all day! Plus the e-ring starts to turn slightly and it drives me crazy when the diamonds aren't lined up. I end up looking at it and fixing it all day. So i only wear them together when we go out somewhere nice.

My e-ring is so exquisite that we actually picked a wedding band with the idea that they could be worn together but not take away from the e-ring. i wanted a little different band then what i got but i love it

i do wear both, but b/c i can't wear them together!! my e-ring is a cushion cut and it's rectangular with diamonds on everyside of the band, i don't want to cover them. To work, i only wear my wedding band!! all the other times, i wear them both!

I still wear both because they match and I like how they look together. But that's a good point about possibly hurting a baby with the diamond. I'm so clutzy, so I might stop wearing my e-ring when I have a baby so that I don't accidentally scratch him or her with it. I don't wear either when we go away on vacation, just in case. I bought a fake wedding band to wear when we go away.
