dumb wwyd question

i recently met up with my ex best friend from HS. We chatted on FB for a while then we had coffee together, and it looks like we are on the way back to friendship. She just FB'ed me that she wants to go to a comedy show with her BF and invited me and DH. She had said she & her BF really like the comedian.

Here/s the stupid part: DH doesnt like the comedian and wants to do something else. I told him we should just go because I really want to hang out with her and meet her BF. He told me I should ask her if she already bought the tickets so maybe I can talk her out of going and doing something else.

I feel fortunate that I dont have anything more pressing on my mind tonight! But any advice on how to reply to her (via FB) would be appreciated!

I would just go to what she wants to go as it was her idea and her invite. and maybe next time u can invite them to ur type of event/activity.
but on the other hand I really dont see anything wrong in saying we are not that into that guy's comedy, I looked up some of the upcoming acts and how about going to see this one, I mean she isnt a mind reader about who u guys like and dont like plus I am sure just b/c u dont like this comedian it wont be the end of the rekindled friendship. basically its not a do or die sich', ya know?
