I think we are thinking more about more of long term goals than we were before but that is about it.
I think b/c we are older and lived together for some years so I don't see the difference really - we are just legal now

I don't think we have changed much, except getting to be together always and just relaxing together on weeknights (we could never do that b/c we lived 90 miles apart)....plus I think now we're more worried about spending money, and trying to save for a house, whereas before we were just trying to get by.....but we definitely still hang out and have fun like we always did, we still go out. I think some of DH's friends are surprised by that haha but it's true

Hmmm - I dont think my personality changed at all. However when we moved intogether a year and half ago - I learned to become a little more 'economically savy' eh-em I learned how to save $$$!! AND I am much neater around the house! I think these are all good things!

im a bm in a wedding on september fifth. I dont know if im going to fit in the dress lol, i am gonna have to work out to at least fit into it

i'm sure you will be fine and the dress will fit. But i know what you mean, i went to a wedding last weekend and everything in my closet was waayyyyyy too tight!!!

thank you for being nice, but as of now it wont fit just have to work out hard for 2 weeks and should be fine. And yes so many other things in my closet just dont fit well anymore. I am limited as to what i can wear

i don't think so. I asked DH a similar question about my personality last night... he said I've been the same (um, mean and angry and easily irritated ) since he met me five years ago.

Not that I have noticed or been told.

One friend from High school told me I am boring now- but he told me that a couple of years ago. LOL. I guess cus I dont go out partying all night anymore.

ehhh ya me too. I just ate a bag of chips and I wasn't even hungry...

No I think I'm the same as before.
Still love to go out with my friends
Still can't cook & hate house work
Personality is the same
I feel the same
No one has told me I've changed.

I think it has...hard to put my finger on how. I didn't feel this way right away - but I think with the stuff we've gone through over the last few months, it's made me see what my role is as a 'wife.' I feel stronger and more 'whole' - hard to explain. Maybe I'm speaking more of our relationship, who knows.

Actually it made me lose weight! After the wedding, DH and I made a promise we wouldnt let ourselves go so we joined the gym! I lost 4 pounds already thank God.

And like Denise said, it has made me more responsible but DH and I have been living together for years so I feel once we started living together I changed for the better. I will say I dont go out as much but thats not cause of marriage thats cause of me. I just cant hang anymore!

The only thing I can say is that I am more of a saver now than I used to be.
Paying for the wedding really helped me not splurge on things i dont need
