i have a quick question - i'm going back and forth with what type of shoes i want to wear. our wedding is in july and i'm not sure seeing as it's summer should i do strappy sandals or a slingback closed toe?
i know it's probably preference, but i was just wondering what some of you had?
TIA

Re: hi ladies
I think you need to try both on with your dress, and see which looks best with the whole ensemble.

I had closed toe. Picture in my Album. I got married 7.21.07
I had open to shoes for my wedding on Friday but that is because it happened to look better with my dress and i LOVED the shoe. I think you should try both on and see what looks better! Good luck!

Re: hi ladies
I had open toe in June however i think it really depends on what looks best with your dress....closed toe wouldve looked ridiculous with my gown.

Re: hi ladies
I had open toe shoes. I got married on July 15th. It was personal preference. I avoid closed shoes at all costs in the summer.

Re: hi ladies
i had a peek-a-boo toe with a closed back...just be careful with strappy stuff....if u plan on wearing them all night they may KILL ur toes! (if u plan on takin' 'em off then dont worry ) here's a pic of the shoes i wore...i loved them - and they were SO comfortable!
what ever you choose, make sure they're comfy. I recall reading a regret of a bride who wore slippers at the reception. she said her dress didn't hang right in any of the reception pics becuase her dress was fitted to her while wearing her heels. make sure heel height is consistent throughout the day....
