OMG! I swear i have a 'sh*t on me sign' on my body somwehere...
I have had the worst two weeks and the punches just kep on rolling... As many of you know, i planned to leave my job soon and just find another because the conditions have gotten outrageous here with my supervisor. I was all prepped for it, planning for my two weeks notice because Dh and I figured it wouldnt be too hard for e eto find something because I am flexible.
Well JUST NOW I got a call from DH who said his boss is being audited...We are now expecting a 1099...
What happened? Well long story short, hhis boss was being shady and trying to hide money through his accountant. He was paying his drivers half on the books, half off. I didn't like that idea but thats how they did it, so we went along with it ince Pete's been working for them for almost 6 years
Ok so NOW it caught up to the boss and his accountant can't account for all the missing moola somehow so they are ALL being audited which emans we migth end up owing about 6 thousand dollars easily because of what DH makes on average a week...
We are NOT rich people. We have to work hard and now this... All because of greedy management...I am just done.
I am trying not to be mad at DH but Jesus CHRIST! He KNEW it was shady, insisted on staying at this job and now my ulcer is acting up because of this emss and I have to stay here and be punished because he made crappy decisions. And he doesnt understand WHY I am pissed?....

Everything will work itself out one way or another. I know it doesn't seem like that right now (and this weather is NOT helping) but it will. FM if you need to talk

WOW Jenn I'm sorry to hear you are dealing with so many ****** situations all at the same time!!! They say bad things happen in three....hope this is the last of it and things begin to ease up for you and your DH. It would be hard for me not to be made at DH if I were in this situation. Try because I'm sure your DH is just as pissed off and concerned as you. Sending you many of these &.

okay so I don't know if you got my FM, but I looked into it and 99% of the time, the IRS who is doing the audit on the co. will not go after the employee. On a side note to have to pay 6000 in taxes, we have to be looking at like 18,000 or more in cash on the side he rcvd. which anything over 10,000 is considered Fraud in the IRS's eyes, which is really bad but luckly for you guys they should leave you alone.
See they audit 3 years back, so you DH already filed hus return for that year and never claimed it... From now on he should keep all his $$ on the books or ask to be 1099 (which means you pay all the taxes, not the co)
Don't worry you should be perfectly fine

So sorry all this crap is going on. You must be really strong 'cause I couldn't even tell from your emails, you always seem to have a positive attitude-that definately says something It's good youre getting it all out! Feel free to vent anytime

Hi heather-I did get your email just ebfore I left work but was meetign Yes so didnt get to respond. Thank you SO MUCH for calming me down a little. I feel better now. Some stress but I can handle it I think.
And thank you everyone else who just offered support. I love the icons but to know that people are actually taking the time to type out responses and send FMS really touches my heart because makes me feel more 'real' to everyone else and them to me.
