we are just terrible.. and we must be wasting so much money on going out all the time..
our problem is... i go grocery shopping so i buy all the dinners for the week.. (meats, etc) BUT the night before we always forget to take it out of the freezer to defrost... we dont do this all the time.. but at least 2x a week, sometimes more
THEN we would just say.... oh screw it , lets go out and get something...

omg too many times!!! the whole last week we had off so we went out for dinner almost every night (except thursday i think)
each week though we go out at least 2 or 3 times

Usually I cook Monday-Thursday and then order or go out Friday-Sunday. I know it's bad and I have to start cooking on Sunday's too. The weekends aren't so bad.

We don't really go out often, but we bring in a lot. I rarely cook, considering I hate cooking and DH works from home a lot (I commute an hour each way-leave the house around 7:30 and get home around 6)-I expect him to cook. He forgets to defrost things a lot. I also don't always eat dinner, because I usually pass out before dinner on the couch!
I did make soup in a crock pot yesterday though!

we used to at least once a week...call in and pick up usually....but nothing lately due to $$$...i miss my take out pasta dishes!!!

since getting married, i think we've only went out once. isnt that crazy?? we're just too lazy now to get ready and drive and stuff. if i dont want to cook a huge meal, i also just make some pasta or sandwiches

We try to go out maybe 2-3x a month.. we are trying to save money and pay off our bills... but we do order in sometimes too, but that doesn't count!!

We actually dont go out much anymore...we are trying to save $$$. When we were dating we went out to eat about 2 times a week...now...its down to 0 lol...the last time we went out was for valentines day. I dont mind it. I understand ur dilema tho...I Always forget to defrost the meat...and it pisses me off lol

I would say twice a month - once at a restaurant, another time chinese takeout. My husband would never go out if it was up to him. He forgets I am the one cooking every night and I need breaks.

4-5 times a week when we arent traveling. There is so much cheap and great food in Manhattan that's it's really easy to eat out a lot.

We're pretty bad, we go our 3-4 times a week, if not we order in. We try to do grocery, which we plan to cook but it never happen because of our schedule.

Luckily, DH LOVES to cook (something I didn't even know about him until we got married).
However, we still end up eating out 1-2 times a week, including Sat. night 'date night'. We both love trying different restaurants. It is hard to avoid eating out in Manhattan where there is so much good variety.
Barely ever order take out though. Something I put my foot down on - so unhealthy.

We used to go out at least 5x a week-for the same reason-we would forget to take it out...now its we are in a routine-we put it in the refrigerator the night before and shortly before cooking we take it out to make sure its ful defrosted

Friday is order in night, just during Lent bc I don't know what to make with no meat - DH is so picky so its either sushi or pizza
Saturday night is date night and we go out to eat
B U T the only reason we go every week is bc once DH goes back to work we will NEVER be able to go out to eat. . . i mean that literally bc he gets home after 11PM every night and his busy season is from April to October SO i figure we can save money then!
