I had told franksbride and anyone else who is interested that Id post about preserving my dress as soon as I got it back, It came today, and they did a beautiful job! I really beat up my dress and they saved every stain. You order online, they send you a box to pack everything up in, they send you an email when they receive your dress and when its on its way back to you. It looks great..so if anyone is interested, its wedclean.com, they have alifetime guarantee and its 100 for the dress, and I also had the veil and purse preserved and that was 10 each additional item.

How can I get in touch with these people, my dress has been hanging around for 4 months, and I need to do soemthing with it.

i got mine done there too - and it does come out great! (did the veil and dress too - but skipped al the extra $$ for additional insurance b/c we figured there's no guarantee anyone will acutally wear it again anyway!
it is just weird b/c it looks like i should be in it b/c of the way its laid up top - and i'm missing! both dh and i got a little freaked out! (we now refer to it as my wedding 'coffin'!)

but i would also totally recommend them!

I preserved my dress not necessairly with the intention of my daughter wanting to wear my dress, but ya never know, I have heard of moms lining their baby's bassinet with the wedding dress, making a christinening dress out of it or a first communion dress out of it..I think they are all beautiful ideas, so whats 100 bucks to spend on a dress that you put so much thought and time picking out , I think its worth it, if not to just have it, a souvenir from your wedding day!

I have been putting it off too. Do they put your tiarra in there too or just the veil?

I called wedclean about the tiara and they said that they would just clean it off and put it in the box. He said their really isn't any preservation for the tiara so he would recommend just putting it in the box yourself when you get the dress. He recommended the veil though.
