Today is my last day. I am at work trying to gather my things, fill my boss in on things I was working on, etc. They blocked my email account though so I am trying to get that taken care of so I can do a few more things here. Insurance is gone as of end of day today but I am going to get some prescriptions filled today ... I have a 6 week severance package which isn't bad actually, and I can get unemployment at the same time .... so I am ok. I applied for a job yesterday and will kick the search into high gear tomorrow.
Thanks for the prayers girls ... if you can continue to pray I would appreciate it ... and if you know of anything in the communications field, please let me know! I would love to be a copy editor or editor, but anything in communications would be good .... TIA!

Jen Im so sorry! Did you know before today you were being laid off? Thank goodness for that severence! I didn't get one when I was laid off last spring and it scared me! I hope you are able to find something soon! And def get that unemployment!!

i work on wall street so i go to work everyday wondering if i'm next..

try to stay positive. i firmly believe things happen for a reason. alot of people i know that got laid off ended up getting a better job & are alot happier.

I'm so sorry..Please try and stay positive..Things always happen for a reason! there is probably a better job out there for you! My dad and Dh got laid off this year as well..but in both cases it worked out for the better...so keep your head up

I'm so sorry!!!!! I hope you find something soon...my DH was laid off a few mos after I met him and he ended up getting a much better job. Praying for you to have this happen too!!!!!!!!
