If you were preggers... or if you are this one is for you...

Do you think it's important to decorate the nursery and set up before the baby comes? I think it's nesting right? How important do you or don't you think this is?

Of course you dont have to set everything up. But do you think it helps with the nesting to decorate at least, even if the baby doesn't stay in that room right away?
We had everything set up by the time the baby was born. But I was a maniac about it and wanted it done before. I just felt more settled. And I'm a control freak and with a newborn you have so many other things on your mind, that's not something I wanted to deal with after. But that's just me. Come to think of it, I don't think I was so anal about it w/ my other 2...

I think I'm going to be so busy with breastfeeding, sleeping and caring for my new born that the last thing I would want to do is have to set-up a nursery!!
Yes!! Absolutely!! I nursed too and let me tell you, you don't have time to think about anything else when you have a baby hanging from your boob every 2 hours!

in my situation, i will be relocating to a new city/state during my last trimester and won't be working so i'll have toooons of time to decorate the nursery.
if you have the time, do it! from what i hear, you'll be so busy afterwards the last thing you'd want to do is decorate!

I definitely think i would have everything set up and decorated and ready to go.
I think the superstition is similar to the one of not seeing the groom before the ceremony, that is it is bad luck. But my theory is people get divorced wether they see eachother or not.
And just because your nursery is set up for baby doesnt mean something bad will happen to the baby.

Its definitely easier to set everything up before the baby comes so its organized because when you get home your sometimes so overwhelmed its difficult to function! I was sort of organized we started construction on our house the day i brought my daughter home...i was extremely overwhelmed to say the least!!
