I'm a brand new Mrs. and happy to be on this board!! Wedding pics attached!
Hi Newlyweds! I am Nautical Bride and am officially a Mrs. now. I just got back from my HM and wanted to say hello!!
Aside from the ceremony starting 20 minutes late (we bused in all of my relatives from Queens and the bus driver got lost), the wedding went very smoothly and mostly as planned.
Any nerves I had before the church got overtaken by joy and I walked down the aisle with a tremendous feeling of exuberance. I will never forget it.
Our friends have been slow to send pics, but I have posted a few. We also just got our HM pics back so I am posting some of those too. St. Lucia was gorgeous!

Thanks newlyweds!! Feels good to be on this board!!
For those that asked about the island: we stayed at the Jalousie Hilton in St. Lucia, which is on the southwest side of the island (the Sandals resorts are on the northwest side). The property is right between the Piton mountains. The Hilton was bought out by LeSport resorts and I think they are changing the property's name to Sunswept. It is staying open through the transition.
We loved the property but we would classify it as a 4 star, not a 5 star property as we were led to believe. The staff were all very nice and the villas were awesome. The photo of us in the pool was actually taken at our villa. We had our own 8x10 foot plunge pool!

Congrats! Your looked amazing! More pics! St.Lucia is gorgeous isn't it? We were there for 1 day on our cruise, but it was one of my favorties. Did you stay at the resort msot of the time, or did you go on any day trips?

How was Danfords?
Cluelessbride, Danfords was fantastic. They set up the room exactly as we wanted it and took care of all of the details. I was initially nervous about working with Vincent because he was sometimes a little slow to get back to us on things and he said no to some of our requests, but in the end he really came through. And Vicky our Maitre'D - we love her. She always greeted us with a hug when we would stop by Danfords and she made the whole event run smoothly. Danfords gets an A+ from us!
