Lets play a 'What If?' game!

What if I gave you $10,000, but you have to use it for a second honeymoon, or third- whatever. Where would you go and where would you stay?

Oooo good question. Well lets see, some places i would LOVE to go to are Dubai, Egypt, Italy. I think we'd do Dubai and Egypt bc Dh also would really love to go to Dubai. ANd ive always wanted to go to Egypt so we'd both get what we want. Part of me would go back to the french riviera but i'd also love to see new things. Dh wants to go to italy for the first time with his parents, go to where his dad grew up and visit the rest of the town. I completely understand that.

I would LOOOOVE to stay at the 7 star hotel in Dubai, would $10k even cover it?

we just went to a wedding this past saturday and the couple are going to Dubai and Egypt for their HM.

LOL Im not sure if 10k would cover many nights at that hotel.maybe a couple? but for the sake of this game I can up yours to like 15k...

I would go to Ireland or Italy. Dubai is really gorgeous but most likely would be out of our 10K budget

is that the price for regular rooms? well im guessing the $2400 is probably for just a standard room. That is crazy, for that amount i'd expect a suite

Egypt. We wanted to go there for our HM, but there was this whole bird flu thing. So inconvenient.

I think I'd also go to Europe with the $$. Cus its so expensive now. I erally want to travel through italy, go to Spain, Portugal, France, and Germany. Darn Euro!

ETA: I still want to go to bali or Thailand, but from what I have seen, you can fly there and stay like 8 nights at the Ritz for under 6k. So I guess I'd just go there another time.

i went to spain and even with the euro its VERY affordable. Infact, it was a bit cheaper than nyc. Yes the euro is more than the dollar but the way they price things it either comes out to the same we would pay or less. For example we'd get sandwiches with side dishes for lunch and it'd be from $3-7 euro, i once got prosciutto w/ swiss they grill it and with fries and it was about $3 euro so thats a bit under $6. I know this wont apply to you but cigs were about 2 euro well 2 euro and change which even came out cheaper than here. Dinners, we would get about 4-5 tapas, drinks, coffee after and it'd be about $30 euro

i just edited my post above, i posted how much things cost. It was very affordable, seriously tapas was so inexpensive. THey have outdoor cafes EVERYWHERE and a menu of tapas plates, most of the tapas dishes were about $1.50-3 euro each, or some MAYBE $4-5 euro each but rarely. We would get 4 potato croquettes and let me say they were the best ive ever had and it was $1.50 euro for the plate
