is everyone happy with their financial status at the moment?

We are both more than happy with our financial status....of course we all want more..but we are very thankful for what we have.

Wedding wise... I didnt think we would have done so good with our wedding expenses.......I thought we would be broke afterwards....... but we did pretty good., just waiting for a few loose ends and then finding that home that we have not yet found ughhh and we will have a home. We are just BIG SAVERS and have been saving forever since we were kids so we have alot saved

I think there's always room for it to be better but I'm trying to think like Suze Ormon (sp?) who's always saying I don't need to MAKE more money, I need to SAVE more money.
She's right, I just hate hearing it.

All in all we're doing fine I think? We have a 'plan' of sorts so that helps because at least we know where our $$$ is going.

Plan B is to win the lottery..

This year, without me working and basically shopping and planning vacations, I thought it would be difficult managing bills. Surprisingly, DH has been amazing with handling everything and supporting me and my shopping habits

we're doing ok right now and I finally start working in June so that's going to help a little and we'll be able to put money away for a home

We haven't come into any financial difficulties and have gone on 7 week of vacation since the wedding.

This year, without me working and basically shopping and planning vacations, I thought it would be difficult managing bills. Surprisingly, DH has been amazing with handling everything and supporting me and my shopping habits

we're doing ok right now and I finally start working in June so that's going to help a little and we'll be able to put money away for a home

for the first time in a LONG time we are broker than broke lol. so my answer is a big fat NO. i do have to say that our NEEDS are met... just not all of our 'wants' lol if that makes sense....

i will say that a lot of crappy personal stuff that's gone on this past year has put us here..and not necessarily our jobs..i just can't wait to be all caught up & out of this darn hole...

if anything these past 6months or so has DEFINETLY taught us that money isn't everything...and that life & love is so much better..
however shopping, a vacation, and no more debt would be nice

heres to paying off debt, starting a REAL savings, and getting my credit score back to where it was!!

No, not happy, but better off than a few years ago.

Perfectly happy

It also helps that we are NOT materialistic at all. We enjoy the simple things in life...walks in the park, long scenic drives, fishing on our boat, laying on the beach and cooking at home. We enjoy just relaxing with friends and family.

We also never had student loans and I never will....same with cc debt

Can your DH talk to mine-I think he needs to be more supportive of my shopping habit. I was a bad girl this weekend -I did my pre-op shopping on Bleeker St.
