Just wondering if anyone else's hubby is as clueless as mine when it comes to doing/fixing things around the house! He's good as far as painting or hanging up small things... but he isn't really handy with tools or doing anything outside. Maybe I'm spoiled b/c my dad is the ultimate handyman... he's a woodworker, can build and/or fix pretty much anything, and keeps a flawless landscape. Maybe my DH will eventually grow into these things (we HAVE only owned a home for 7 months)... but right now... we still call our dads for help!

I am the one with the power tools in our house...I grew up helping my Dad fix things. DH is a fantastic cook though so I'll gladly fix the toilet while he makes dinner! It all works out in the end...

My Dad is super handy, he does it all. My DH is pretty good also. He paints, spackles, has built our closet in our master bedroom, has installed our recessed lights in the LR, added extra outlets throughout our home.... and more!

he's super handy. he's up on a chair right now with his tools hanging all of our stuff, bc we just moved into our new place. thank goodness for my rough n tough Alaska boy, bc we'd be hopeless w/o his handiness!!

DH is a union carpenter so he's very very handy, i'm so thankful!!! But since he's doing stuff all day at work, getting him to do stuff at home is like someone said pulling teeth...

yeah, he's actually not too bad- my dad always fixed everything and is amazing at it- so it's hard to compare anyone to his him- but DH does do a great job!
