We werent planning on getting a puppy until we moved in and things settled down a bit....so he comes home with an adorable poodle/maltese mix yesterday and i was shocked that he didnt even tell me....so he then proceeds to give me this whole story about how he had to take him home with us otherwise this little guy was going into a shelter...(sigh lol)
Anyways my question is this...i already have a four year old dog and she has been depressed all of last night. And this morning she is moping around the house. She doesnt want me to touch her b/c she cant stand the new smell of another dog and she growls and barks at him whenever he tries to approach her. I feel so badly to see Bella hurting like this. Will the siutation get better? Will they learn to love each other?

aww Milana hes so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They'l learn to love each other. give them time. Otherwise, I'll take him. haha.

give it some time. Try to give your older dog lots of attention! your new pup is so adorable!!

thanks ladies i am showering Bella (my 4 year old dog) with lots of attention..she still doesnt like him but im going to be optimistic and hope that sooner or later she will accept him.

OMG adorable!!!! Bella will definitely get better with louie. I have a mini dauchsand and he hated when my parents got their new dog a chaviler king charles but they love love each other now!!!
