Just got home ... it went really well. The guy I'd be working for said he IS going to make me an offer but he just has to talk to the head guys and confirm the # he will offer. It's going to be less than what I was making at my last job - and less than I was making before my last raise but not by a ton ... I am hoping they have a little wiggle room. I am guessing I will get the offer tomorrow or Wed.

And if I get it, I guess I have to quit the hostessing job I JUST got (didn't even start yet) - the hours are 8-5 and the night shifts at the rest. start at 5 - there's no way I could make it and I just don't want to start a new job like that, having to learn TWO new things, you know? Even if I worked the rest. only on weekends - it's just a LOT right now, at the same time. I could do it in a few weeks, but now would be a lot!

Congrats! I hope they make an offer soon. I think it's great to just get your foot in the door right now too. I would definitely not do the two jobs right away-wait until you are feeling more comfortable.

that's great news!!! Congratulations!! And i agree - the 2 jobs might be too much right now. it's hard enough getting used to ONE new thing - two would probably just cause unnecessary stress.
