Well, I don't have pictures of the actual proposal, but this picture was taken about three hours before the proposal, on my cell phone.

my dh was shaking..and he will tell u lhe want crying but yep he was

the only thing i have never told anyone is what he actually said to me when he got down..besides the will u marry me part

hands over his beer to pull out the ring me completely lost as to what he is doing!!


me realizing what he is doing:

omg this really just happened chris saying 'so is that a yes'


standing up and saying ' omg yes yes yes!'


Hugs still didnt even put the ring on!


finally put the ring on and really looking at it: chris saying ' yeah i did a good job'


me crying again cuz im so happy and still in shock that FINALLY after 5 years chris proposed to me!!

He was calm because we still had to get through Top of the Rock, dinner, and getting to the Promenade in Brooklyn Heights ... once we were there he was jittery for sure!

I have ALWAYS loved your photos of your engagement ... and whatever it is he said must have worked

i dont have pictures of 'us' but here was the set up in our old apartment. we had a joke about proposing via text message because thats how we started officially dating so he had the words 'will you marry me' on the cell phone screen and the ring attached to the antenna with fishing line

I don't have pictures of the actual act since it was just us too, but here are some pics from right after...he had his camera because it was under the guise of a 'let's go to the park so I can take pictures' trip He had the ring hidden in his camera case
