My house for Diane and Jennbaby

Downstairs:

KITCHEN:

LIVING ROOM


DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM

The living room and dining room are still completely empty

Upstairs:
GUESTROOM 1

MASTER BEDROOM

There's still a TON to get done. Furniture, paint...bit by bit.

HOUSE
Hubby hasn't updated the site since we moved in, but the last few dates show the master bathroom and living room plus the appliances in the kitchen

Thanks for letting me share with you guys.
And I'm dead serious about the door being open. You're more than welcome to pop over for a peek around, and I'd be more than happy to give you a grand tour. I'm proud of our house and I love showing it.

Very Beautiful! You have such nice accents to go along with your furniture, that's what I'm on now. I have all the furniture, but no pics on the walls, or anything! Something seems to be missing from my house, that little cozy feeling you get from all those extras!

I love it!

DH couldn't understand the whole point of hanging stuff up on the walls, but I think it makes it more 'homey'

I LOVE Home Goods. Get all my wall stuff there.
Eventually I think I might start going to galleries for framed art, but for now those will do.

I'll have to host a liweddings GTG one day, since I seem to always be away whenever there's one scheduled
Maybe a BBQ, once we get a grill...if this rain ever lets up

Kathi,
UBATUBA GREEN?
the granite was worth the upgrade from the formica. They wanted to charge us $1000 just to put a beveled edge on the formica in the kitchen...it wasn't much more than that to put granite in the kitchen AND 2 bathrooms.

I dont' remember the name...but it looks the same! We went to one granite place (recommended by Consumers Kitchens and Bath) and they wanted to add a fortune to bevel the edge of the granite...and certain pieces were more expensive than others, etc. etc,

So we found this great guy who didn't charge any extras...same price for whatever granite you wanted with whatever edging you wanted! (Excluding this one piece of granite that was Bright blue and white...that was psychotically expensive).

We saved so much $$$ using him for the kitchen, that we were able to put marble floors and walls in our 2 guest bathrooms!

my mom is redoing her kitchen...and is in a fit to get the perfect granite...it does make a huge difference from formica

I think it absolutely does! Granite just give a kitchen that 'ahhhhhhh'. That just me, but I think the granite is worth every penny! We loved it so much we extended the granite backsplash all the way to the cabinets on the wall!

I'd take a picture of it now...but the kitchen looks like a bomb went off (my FI was off today, and decided to make breakfast....he's not into the cleaning up thing! )
