My new pet peeve...gym related

Ok so I agree with Anamarie...I dont specifially do my makeup for the gym...but I go after work and my makeup is still on! (PS - I never leave the house without makeup anyway).

BUT - will not put fresh lipstick on, etc. I do sometimes wear cute outfits...but only bc it makes me feel better. LOL I dont however wear bootie shorts and sports bras. And I work out with FH so there is none of this meat market crap! LOL! I always put my hair up though...cant stand it down..makes me hot. I work out hard...lift weights, run and by the end I am beat red in the face and looking pretty scary and my makeup is melted off anyway!

I told Dh the other day I was excited that in 2 weeks I can go back to the gym and what wa s his comment? ' Dont you have to have been there to go back there?' Jerk

I just cant believe women will join a gym to meet men...
They make it sooooooo obvious and they really just end up looking pathetic. theres this one girl who walks around in her skimpy outfit with her hair loose and I watch her and she does like 1 exercise every 20 minutes at the slowest pace too. She just strolls around. Its the oddest thing to me. EH I guess to each his own but it annoys me.

do you go to the rock by any chance. I always see girls walking out of there all fixed up, and lots of young meatheads go so im guessing its to impress them. But the matrix is sort of the same way, so either place you go to in the neighborhood would be the same

yeah the rock is crazier. Dh has had a membership there forever but hasnt gone in the longest time, he said he has to get in shape first before going

OMG Joe is too funny!!! Tell him to get his butt to the gym and stop wasting money!! Chris has a membership but goes like once a week and he hasnt been able to go because of his appendix. I forgot to suspend his membership when it happened so we paid for this month for nothing. But Im used to it since he hardly ever goes anyway.

its horrible, but thank god he just cancelled it recently. The rock is expensive to begin with and he was paying every month and not going. Now though he is determined to get back into shape, nice that he realizes it right after he cancels the membership lol. But i think hes gonna go somewhere closer though, the rock was easier when he lived in astoria.

You might be able to get refunded for that month he had his appendix. Show them a doctors note and they might understand, and maybe give you the next month free. You never know

that's me to a 't'. it's like i wrote this! LOL. i have to admit, i don't put my hair up, but it's fairly short and i get the WORST headache if it's up. that makes it really hard to concentrate on working out.

I'm glad i'm not the only person that just like's to 'Look Nice' without trying to pick anyone up LOL It just makes me feel good. Stop stereotyping me ........ heheh im just playing

Hair must be up at all times. However I am guilty of the makeup thing (when I use to go right after work). Other than that when I go to the gym straight from home I look like crap and I could care less

I go to Synergy in West Babylon and I always see girls there with their long hair down (maybe just a headband in it) and full make up on.

I don't get it??!!! But at my gym we got a lot of those west bab meatheads looking for some @$$ at the gym so it's a perfect place for the girls to go and look good

I HATE working out without my hair up!! It is always up and the only reason I would ever have makeup on going to the gym is because I went straight from work. But otherwise I don't care what I look like I know I am there for myself to improve myself and I could give 2 sh*ts if someone thinks I am ugly at the gym because I am a sweaty mess, red in the face with no makeup on and black sweats and a tank top or t-shirt haha

i have a similar pet peeve.. how can u possible work out or walk/run on the treadmill while your on the CELL PHONE

i don't mean a quick 'yeah i am at the gym should be home in a hour' . the other night this girl next to me was on for a whole hour while on the treadmill. obviously not working out hard enough!!

OMG I have an iPhone so when Im listening to music on the treadmill, DH calls me sometimes. Yesterday I told him out loud, 'Baby youre making me the a-hole on the treadmill talking on her phone' And he got the point. Theres no way I could talk for the whole hour on the treadmill. Thats ridiculous. before I had the iPhone I didnt even bring my phone to the gym.
