After it gets to the reception part, it locks, jams and freezes. I told Duval and they told me maybe dust was on the cd. But, I cleaned it, bought a new cd player and I clean it. But, it still freezes. I hate it, now I have to call them and complain, once more.

i disagree
quality, how long it will last (20 years vs 100 years), indexing, length of matieral on tape
huge difference
overtime, you vhs tape will go bad and start to flicker slowly fading away. It doesn't matter if you use it or not.... its only a matter of time before VHS is gone completely.

oh, maybe i thought somthing different about your statement. Prehaps you are having the same freezing problem.
What i was saying there is a huge difference between DVD and VHS..

Don't feel too bad, I'm having the SAME problem. All 3 of the DVDs I got from Duet are skipping. We haven't been able to watch the whole thing through. The first two chapters work fine, but then they start skipping from that point forward.
