From experience, the best advice I can give itLEAVE YOUR TIP ENVELOPES OPEN!
Certain vendors will exceed your expectations while others will flounder. I wish I had left my envelopes open to give extra to the ones who did better than I imagined and especially to take out money to the ones who make HUGE mistakes on the most important night of your life.

Dont let people influence you to do something because it is easier for everyone else. Do what is right for YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND because at the end of the day you want to look back at your video and pictures and say that is exactly how I wanted our day to be

tip #2Shop around. dont settle because the vendor seems nice. Go to your appointments being prepared with what you want to spend.

Something someone told me was when walking down the aisle don't rush! Take your time and soak everything in.They were right. That experience was amazing!

Take 5 minutes to be completely alone with your DH, whether its in the bridal suite, limo, etc and just enjoy the moment!

Create a day-of-folder with ALL the information for the day of and then hand it to someone you trust-any inquires should be referred to person in charge with folder while you ENJOY THE DAY!

-Don't go crazy over favors. I had $4 custom made chocolate lollipops and a lot of people left them on their tables. At the end of the night, I was trying to scramble and pick up as many as I could because I couldn't deal with seeing the money and delicious treat wasted.

-Direct the photographer if you want certain pictures to be taken that he/she is not taking on their own. Speak up or else you might regret it later when you see the pictures.
