NWQOTD - Saturday!!!

Okay - here's my QOTD!

So I was thinking about proposals and how we all love telling our proposal stories no matter how they happened. . but let's switch it around. . so

If you had been the one to propose to your DH - how would you have done it? Get those creative juices flowing. .

DH is such a girly romantic at heart. So he'd like something you'd do for a girl I would have lit up the apartment with candles and asked him when he got home from work then had a nice steak dinner ready.

good question! i would have planned to do it first of all on the day before or a few days before we had a vacation planned so that we could go away right after to celebrate.

i would have actually popped the question at night on the promenade in brooklyn heights and then wouldve had reservations at the river cafe (maybe reveresed)

nothing to extravagant but really romantic and sweet and outside with beautiful scenary!

this wouldve been the ultimate proposal TO ME, lol...o well

I would have done the same exact thing, going to our secluded little bench in Avalon Park in Stony Brook....he picked that place for a reason, because it was a special place for both of us, and I'd do the same thing too.

I think I would have taken him out to dinner and then to a broadway show (we love shows) and then maybe had a secret bottle of champagne or something and gone down to the water somewhere and asked him there. ..

but I also love the idea of just doing the apartment up totally nice, cooking an amazing dinner and just having him walk in the apartment and be totally shocked. .

or. .

just kidding but now that I'm thinking about it - I'm on a roll. .. I thought maybe out in a kayak in the middle of a beautiful body of water but knowing me I would drop the ring in the ocean and lose all the flipping money!

DH proposed to me on a vacation to Chicago, and i loved that--it was so nice to relax and just let it sink in. i probably would have done that too, but i also would have included our dog in some way...like have him (the dog) come out in a t-shirt that says 'will you marry me' or something.

I thought of that too but DH went on and on about how he liked the private moment of it. .

ha - listen to me talking about this like I actually went through the thinking process
