It's a book club! And the above ladies are in! We are thinking like book a month, maybe we can each take turns picking once a month, and then we'll have a posting week on it - and we are hoping for a 'book club tab' courtesy of liweddings!!!
Anybody else interested or have any input on how it should work?

I'd love to be in it. I've read almost all of the Oprah books, but lately I haven't picked up a novel in a few months (mostly reading pregnancy books or just sleeping ).

I would love to be a part of the group. I haven't really read much since I put my last bridal magazine down and since I no longer work in the city, I don't get the opportunity to read on the train.
This is a great opportunity for me to get reading again.

wow! great interest! it looks like we have 17 already that are interested. now what do you guys think - i can see a few issues that might come up.
Say we decide to choose a book on January 10th. Does that work for everybody?
How do we field it if somebody has read that book (which is BOUND to happen obviously).
How much time do we give to read the book before we 'discuss'.
What is the best way to discuss?
My sister has a book club and they choose a collection of books that will last for six months, and just go in order. They collectively try to make a list of as many as they can that nobody has read. ( If you read it, you might skim it over or re-read it before the review). How do you think we should choose? (And Shamma maybe you can kick start the choosing since you are in the middle of something now! )
