OMG! Plane crash in the Hudson River!

i just found out somebody from my company was on that plane


Thank God everybody is ok!!

wow... this is NOT helping my fear of flying!!!

I know...who knew Honestly I never did, so now this is something else I will be worried about during my next flight I will think I will be in that 15% I am crazy like that!.. ughh

I am bad during take off , turbulence and landing.. so almost close to the whole flight. I have to take pills I have moments and periods when I am good. Once the plane was soo turbulent I got up and told everyone we are ALL GOING TO DIE AND DON'T ANY OF YOU CARE??

My husband almost passed out he had to refrain me. Needless to say you don't want to be around me on a flight.

no they didn't I think most of the passangers where just like 'what the he!! is wrong w/this chick'

Than the stewardess had to come over and try to keep me calm and talk to the pilot to find better air b/c a passenger was going wild.

I seem to remember taking more drugs.but I can't remember exactly. Amazingly enough I was good for the honeymoon - I think I was just in better sprits in general

God help my husband now after this incident, If I were a passenger on that plane I am not sure I could fly after that. It would be all Trains. Than again maybe some of them are troopers, and not jerks like me!

OMG - Jenn...that is bad! On a side note I used to be very fearful of flying....used to take Zanax...things are better now though. My sister too and my mom too!

Aww, you're not a jerk...you have a great fear. It's hard to overcome it. My friend is reeaally bad...so much so that there have been times she has gotten to the airport and can't get on the plane. Her and her husband drive A LOT of places because he's pretty bad too.

The media svcks!!!

They are all over this poor survivor like vultures, microphones and blackberries all in his face.... And I hate when they ask the dumbest questions! They just asked a guy who survived a near death situation to describe how the other passengers were feeling when the plane was going down?!?! But I love his response, he goes sarcastically 'what do you think it was like? we were panicking! no! we were all just chilling hanging out, I was gonna buy the guy next to me a drink' haha good for him!

When I was coming back from puerto rico we hit horrible turbulence, a lot of people were crying because it was pretty scary. Some lady got up and told us we're all going to die but it wasn't you, she was middle aged.

See you shouldn't be embarassed apparently telling a whole flight of people they're going to die is pretty common!

OMG I really was like thinking b/c it is totally embarrassing that I got so upset and crazy. I was coming home from Barbados am pretty sure! What a trip, I really was very very scared -the plane just kept dropping and dropping from the air pockets and turbulence.

I am kinda glad I am not the only freak when these things go on. It just doesn't help matters when things are not good. I really need to chillll

Don't be embarrassed. We all have our fears and anyone who says they doesn't 't is a liar! My fear is needles so my doctors (and their staff) basically laugh at me the second I walk in the door because my reaction to needles is pretty much your reaction to flying.

Aw, I agree, don't be embarrassed, Jen. There are so many people who feel the way you do. I just feel bad that you get so scared. I hate when the plane does that too. That happened to me when I went to Hawaii years ago. On the flight from LA to Honolulu they had to shut down one of the engines. Before we were ready to land they made an announcement and told us what happened. They told us there would be an emergency crew standing by and they didn't want us to be alarmed when we saw fire engines. It was only the second time flying for me so I didn't really think much of it. I just figured it was turbulence because the weather was bad, but when I thought back, I realized that was probably when they shut the engine down. No one could believe how nonchalant I was about it. If that happened to me now, I'd probably be like you were.

OMG I HATE needles too! I could never be a drug addict

I don't hate them as much as flying though - but I NEVER EVER give blood b/c of this. It is soo ridiculous but I always say ' I need all my blood' - I actually start to get light headed when they have to take it, I am sure it is all in my head.

I'm just so glad everyone is okay My office is on 5th and 44th and you heard all of the emergency vehicles flying up to the Hudson!
