orbitz has the money back thing if someone buys the same flight for less money... so i pretty much always use them

i usually use orbitz ... BUT you should really check both - sometimes one site has a better deal than the other.

I use kayak first & book on whatever site is the cheapest.

I like Orbitz... However, if you're looking for flights, I think you should book through the actual airlines' website. I booked a flight last week to Europe... it was over $100 cheaper on the airlines website as opposed to Orbitz.

For a flight, I personally would just go with the airline directly. I never used travelocity but I have used Orbitz twice with no problem..l got a great deal years ago to Puerto Plata with them.

However, Orbitz has quite a few complaints. When we were coming back from our honeymoon there was a couple who couldn't get on their flight back home...the airline claimed that they cancelled it during their stay but they said they didn't... I think somehow Orbitz cancelled it while they were away and they couldn't get back on the flight b/c it was booked..they were pretty pissed.

I would still use Orbitz if I found a good deal but I would have my fingers crossed.
