Photos of the wounds reportedly show major contusions on both sides of the 20-year-old singer's face, with serious swelling and bruising, including a split lip and a bloody nose, as well as bite marks on one of her arms and several fingers

And she's smart for letting the cops take pics of her injuries and filing a report. Many women don't have the courage to do that.

bite marks??? seriously, this guy has some fvcked up problems... why would you bite someone?? or any of the other horrific things he did.... i feel bad for her and anyone in this situation.. i hope she's ok... he deserves a beating for putting his hands on a woman... i can never understand, what kind of a man does that?? not much of one

yeah no woman deserves to be treated that way, always sad to hear.
I think her family wants her to go back to barbados for now to take care of her and keep her away from chris or more like chris away from her bc i hope she is done with him after this.
Also she never admitted to dating him...she always just said they were close friends.

I have friends on LJ, Myspace and Facebook saying she deserved it. And they post ridiculous .gifs with her face all bruised. WHAT?? The crazy part is that its mostly women (or should I say immature girls) that are posting this. NO MAN has the right to lay a finger on a woman, regardless of what shes done. And no one but them really knows what went on so how does one say she 'deserves it' without really knowing the situation. I don't know for some reason think that because she's a celebrity that she's not human. Do you know how hard it is for a woman of domestic violence to deal with that situation? Now imagine Rihanna having to deal with it in the spotlight and having the whole world know that a punk like Chris Brown beat her. I personally think that more should be done to Chris and that he gets the same punishment any other man would get for hitting a woman. He's a major douche and I hope he loses all his endorsements and money. He's lost all of the little respect I already had for him.

Especially knowing that shes a celebrity and the news will travel. Very good for her for standing up for herself.

my husband just told me that he punched her in the mouth a while back in a night club. I hope she's not dumb to get back with that low life. I have no respect for a man that puts his hands on a women. To me it's like hitting your mother!
