QOTD FOR 8/22/03- What was the one thing that you could not wait to do right after the wedding?

For me it was that I couldnt wait to get pictures of any kind developed to see!

Table cameras, from friends, family etc......
I just wanted the pictures ASAP

Me too, Tammy!

The day we returned from our honeymoon we had a message that our proofs were ready, but we got the message about 10 minutes after the studio closed!!!!

The wait to pick them up the next day felt like it took 2 months!!!

Definitely pictures. I checked my msgs the day before we left Hawaii, and I had a VM from our studio - I was so excited!!! I spent most of the day scanning our proofs online so that all our friends, family and internet friends could see

The day we got back from the HM when all the cameras were done b/c I took whatever ones had pics left on them with me, I took them to the one hour place and picked them up right on time

Get on the plane for our honeymoon. I didn't want to see any pictures. I didn't want to see/do anything related to the wedding for a while after it...I think I was very burnt out!

EAT!

After months of dieting, I could wait to eat the food on our cruise!

(Though I wish I hadn't gone off my diet - I am STILL having a tough time getting back on !)

Definitely the pics....loved getting the honeymoon pics and the table camera pics. Oh, and going on the honeymoon without a doubt!!!

definitely jumping on the plane to get to tahiti. after a wedding and two receptions and over 1000 people around us we were SO READY TO LEAVE!! the limo picked us up from our second reception to go to the airport .. i swear that was the best drive ever

I COULDN'T WAIT TO CUT MY HAIR OFF!!!

But I've been married for two months and I still haven't done it yet. I'm suddenly afraid!

I'm with you Kelly : ) I got my hair cut on the cruise lol. I couldn't take it anymore. Of course it was nice to see all the pictures too : ).

RELAX!!! The last few months before my wedding was very stressful because on top of wedding planning, my MIL was diagnosed with sarcoma, my grandmother was told she probably will not be alive for my wedding (she made it and died two days later), and work became surprisely he11ish! Now that the planning is over, I'm enjoying my gifts and especially my marriage.

Take off my SHOES!!! I was dying to take them off and relax. It's the first thing I did when we got back to the hotel room.

Then it would have to be going on the HM. I just couldn't WAIT to relax and not have to think about who needed a payment, or think about phone calls, fittings, favors.

I wasn't in a big hurry to see my pictures, since it rained and I knew I was going to be disappointed.

1) Enjoy my honeymoon.
2) Eat. Everyone raved about the food...it would have been nice if I had some too....I ended up eating chips from the mini-bar I was starving!
