I was recently asked this and I honestly dont know. And Im very much a 'planner' ...but I really dont have a clue.
I could see myself pretty much with teh exact same situation as I am in now (same house, no kids, same job, etc..) just as easily as I can picture a totally different life (different house, different town, kids, different job)
What about you?

In 5 years? I have hopefullys.
In five years we will hopefully have a house, and be trying for a baby.
My DH will hopefully be teaching music in college and writing music for commercials, short films, etc.
I will hopefully still like my job (assuming I'm still here).
But you never know what might happen.

I see the same house, kids (God willing), me working less hours (to have more time home with the kids), but still working at my same job (I like where I work). Most things the same except for the kids aspect.

I see same house, same job and 1-2 kids...
Here's my hopefullys: my extension and siding and new windows are done
maybe have one kid or TTC be working on my PhD have travelled to Africa, Australia or Japan

a Condo/Townhouse- different town, maybe a house (don't really want a house).
Definetly have atleast 1 kid (God Willing)
New job as a Pastry Chef, maybe in a restaurant or doing my own thing.

Hopefully, I will be looking for a new home and trying for our second child. As for work, I will either be: working for the same company in a different HR position OR working in a school as a counselor. If money allows, I'd love to SAH for a few years.

Either living such a wonderful life, that I will be planning to renew our cermony and vows at the same place we got married......
or
Divorced and happily engaged again, and planning my wedding at the same place I got married the first time, and doing it all over again!! LOL

I see myself home with a kid or two - my house finally the way I want it, my dog actually not eating everything he sees (LOL!!) and god willing everyone in my family healthy and happy.

I took part in a time capsule on New Years Eve 1999-2000, to be opend in 5 years - so far 2 of the things I said would happen have happened - I bought my own apt, and married DH
The next 5 years are tough - hopefully more travelling, possibly irish twins, definately a shorter commute

I love change. I can't live without it so the next five years we will be in a new house, with kids, new jobs. Though I love the house and job I have now...lol but got to keep moving

Within 5 years I hope...
To have all our debts paid off including student loans
To have at least one child
To own a home
To have my husband and myself happy in our careers
For my sister to finally get a boyfriend and get married
And health and happiness for all my family.
