Thought this might be a fun post. Show me your home...whether that be the 5 bedroom ranch on 10 acres or the front door to your studio apartment!
Shutterfly is not cooperating but I will add photos as soon as I can!
PS: Looking for front door ideas so if you have a photo of your door, I would love to see that :D

WOW ladies, thanks for sharing your pics. You truly have amazing homes. We have been looking at condos, and houses for weeks and I have not seen anything this nice. It makes me bummed out about what I want and what I can actually afford.

Re: Show me your home...
Kathy, Our home is truly a nightmare. We basically bought it for the location and property (which is only one acre). Our goal is to either add a 2nd story & 3 car garage or cosmetically fix it up and then move. We'll see.
The windows we would need to replace are 6'x6'. We couldn't find any that size, so we left them. They're original and single pane...hence not very energy efficient.

Re: Show me your home...
I'm also on 1 acre, but you're yard seems bigger.
I just asked FI about the windows...they're all various sizes downstairs...our largest is this center one which is 10 feet wide x 7.5 feet (we think, or it's 8...we have really high ceilings).
Now, all the windows in this sunroom that I'm posting (5 windows, the price is not including the french doors)...those came to $17,000...not including installation.
All the windows in our house (all of these windows are a minimum of 6 feet wide, some are 10.....5 in sunroom, 3 dining room, about 8 in bedroom, 5 roof windows in bedroom, 2 in dressing area, 1 roof window in dressing area, 2 in master bath, 1 roof window in master bath...and more, I just can't name them all), cost around $55,000! Just in windows...not including installation!
Here's some pics of the windows.
The roof windows are huge, they're about 5 feet by 7 feet.
But don't be depressed, I'm showing you the AFTER pictures...this is 3-4 years of gutting, spackling, building, decorating...doing every imaginable thing to this house to make it look like this.
I have to find some befores, and I promise when I do I'll post them!
Just for you Jenn, I'm going to post the others that everyone is probably sick of

Re: Show me your home...
was this a real fixer-upper when you bought it? We don't have that option unfortunately, DH is clueless! We need a turn-key house
