Thought this might be a fun post. Show me your home...whether that be the 5 bedroom ranch on 10 acres or the front door to your studio apartment!
Shutterfly is not cooperating but I will add photos as soon as I can!
PS: Looking for front door ideas so if you have a photo of your door, I would love to see that :D

Re: Show me your home...
Jenny, we got a good deal on the dining windows at Home Depot...the smallest one we have there is a 6 foot wide window...for all three it was around $5,000.
Here's a pic of my dressing area that was once our Master bedroom...we knocked the wall out between that room and our new MB, and made the old one into our closets/lounge around area.
Teri, my FI works close to 90 hours a week, he doesn't have ANY time to fix anything...we hired an architect, contracter, many subcontracters, and a wonderful friend who does a lot of this stuff on the side!
It can be done.
Jennbaby, just for you I'm going to post the pics everyone else is probably sick of...but I love doing it!
Kathy116, I'm dying over here, your home is gorgeous, the view magnificent, and your taste impeccable. You must be an interior designer.... What a beautiful home! And please, indulge me... where to you keep all your crap girl! LOL
how do you leave that house? How do you get out of that bed???????? I would never leave, I would love to watch a storm out of those windows...

Re: Show me your home...
The crap gets hidden in the closets! I'm definately not an interior designer...but we had one, if you want her name and info. just FM me, she works for Ethan Allen.
Anyways...I found some befores!!!
Here's the condition of the floors when we moved in!
This was the sunroom before...look at the windows!
It was actually more like a closed off porch! (Sorry for the big a$$ tree, it's the only pic I can find!)
We basically knocked the whole room down and just left the frame standing, then rebuilt it.

Re: Show me your home...
Kathy, How many square feet is your home? Did you add on to it? I love all the large windows, but they would look silly in our home. We don't have the view that you guys have.
$5k is pretty good for that size.

Re: Show me your home...
Here's the kitchen after we pulled down the sheetrock and knocked out a wall, but trust me...it wasn't much better looking when the orginal kitchen was up!
