Wow, your house is breathtaking! I'm afraid to know how much you spent on the complete renovation seeing how much you spent just on windows. Anyhow, it was well worth the money spent, your home belongs in a magazine.

I could pass out when I saw the price, but then again the amount of money for the windows They are definately worth it though. The house is so open now.
I would never leave that house.

Kathy Im jealous I want to find me a house that looks like that Im too lazy to do a fixer upper. Although its the smart way.
How do you manage to leave your house, I personally would sit and drink coffee all day and look out the window

Llyod Harbor is also beautiful, but it's WAY too far away from my FI's hosptial.
But it's beautiful! I love driving around that area! We're Suffolk folk!

all I can say is absolutley fab. I shared it with hubby and his response was see I tolf you, you have to be more open to fixer uppers I love the windows and all the space and all the closests. I could go on and on. Do you go to the beach there. WOw, i enjoyed my journey thru your home.
I love looking at other people's homes it gives me ideas. May you all have years of happiness in your home.

We looked out in Head of the Harbor and it was way too far from FH's office (and forget about the NY showroom and airports.) It was frustrating cause we could have had a 'mini-estate' on 2.5 acres instead of the 3 bedroom ranch we have now. The commute just wasn't worth it.
But I must say...you guys did well!!! You're sure to make a huge profit no matter what happens to the real estate market.

Kathy - Holy Cow. I'm embarrassed to post a picture of our house now - JK!! Your house and views are breathtaking. I can only hope our renovations take shape one day so I can post some great photos!! Just beautiful!!
And the ad for your house - we paid more than that and we have a tiny hi-ranch on 1/2 acre!

Thanks ladies!!!! Yes, FI is a vet! He has his own hospital, and is such a great guy!
The way we met...my chubby dog had a thyroid condition...so I brought her in, and guess who just bought the hospital...FI! Love at first sight!
Jenn, where do you live now? I'm guessing Lattingtown (my uncle lives there, and I know it's crazy expensive for even the non-mansions), or Brookville?

Shamma...we got to the beach ALL the Time! I'll go down by myself and sit on the beach with my dogs,
when FI is not working on the weekends (rarity), we take a bottle of wine and some glasses and just chill on the beach. It's very relaxing.
Thanks again ladies, all the compliments made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! It's nice to finally be able to share this once disaster site now!
