Slow Board Question: What was your favorite place to visit as a kid?
Original post by Coach416
I was driving to the gym the other day and passed a school in Centereach on Holbrook Rd. where this HUGE wooden playground used to be. The place was sooooooooo cool!!!! I can still remember all the hiding spots and different things to play on. I used to love going there...where did you love to go?

Honestly, McDonald's! LOL...I took dancing class every Saturday morning for my entire childhood and then some but I use to always remember that after class my mom and dad would pick me up and take me there and I just loved going there with them, now that I think of it they probably bribed me to take dancing class with McDonald's!

Camping with my neighbors. We'd go upstate and do the honk sign to all the 18-wheelers that passed. They'd ALWAYS honk back!! I loved it!!!
One time we stopped at a rest area and an Entenmann's delivery guy gave us a box of cookies.
My neighbor's son was in a wheelchair so we always had to camp near electricity but we'd still sleep in a tent, eat campfire food, it was great!!!
