Besides the regular wedding stuff (actually getting married, the ring exchange, first kiss, the dress, dance ect) what were some events/conversations that happened at your wedding that you will never forgot? You know the ones that pop up and make you smile every time you think of them?

Our small ceremony was in my Aunt's home. Well, we happened to schedule it during the BIG Jets playoff game and naturally everybody was disappointed. Before the ceremony, everybody was watching the game and when it came time for the ceremony, it was so close to half-time, that we decided to wait a bit. Most brides would be angry, but I thought it was really funny. We got married during half-time
That is hysterical!!! I told DH that we couldn't get married on a Sunday b/c I didn't want to miss the Jets game. The day after the wedding we stayed at Oheka Castle and watched the game in our room. I mean, when do you get to watch football in a castle

DH and the groomsmen had the limo before me and my BM. When I got into the limo to go to the church there was a note on my seat that said
Hey Jenn (Maiden Name):
Move your ring. I'll see you on the alter. I love you.

Before our wedding day I was so nervous that I was going to have my engagement ring on my left hand at the church and that I would have to move it during the ceremony. And you know what? I did have it on the wrong hand in the limo. So it's a good thing he left me the note.

well,
for one...I have realized that whenever i hear the song 'Right Round Baby' by Dead or Alive, I think of my wedding....because when the DJ played it at the wedding, EVERYONE was dancing. My mother and her two friends were caught on tape and photo country line dancing to it while the rest of us did our NEw Wave thang! It was SO GREAT!
Also, one of DH and my mutual best friends was in our BP of course, and just after hte ceremony was over, I went to give him a hug and he was all 'faklempt' (also, amazing pictures of him all emotional at our wedding)
'Lets Do The Time Warp Again' ...at the end..EVERYONE ON THE DANCE FLOOR FELL TO THE GROUND...formal wear and all!

I have so many favorite moments from my wedding day but the one that sticks out in my mind is my church was filled with children because Im a 2nd grade teacher and most of my students from my class this year came and children from my previous classes came. The priest ended up calling all the children up to the alter and had the children say a blessing. What touched me the most was I used to work at a private school and many of the children and parents of children I taught came and I couldn't believe that they remembered me and when my wedding was. I was so surprised.

*one of my BM falling sloppy drunk all over our dance floor multiple times...
*an anniversary dance we did for Tim's grandparents...they just celebrated 50 yrs and then danced to their wedding song...
*the 5 minutes I spent w/ my father right before we walked down the aisle...
