'Stuff the Groom Doesn't Know'

Original post by halfbaked

Sooooo, I used to subscribe to Cosmo but since they haven't come out with any new, ground breaking ways to please my man in the past 15 years, I stopped getting it. I still get an e-mail with highlights from the upcoming issue though. In today's e-mail, they had an article called 'Stuff the Groom Doesn't Know (Even Now)'. Click me for the article! It's about pre-wedding stuff that the brides never told their groom- it ranges from silly things like a nervous breakdown in the car before the rehearsal to banging the priest after the bride's bachelorette party. But it got me wondering... was there anything that happened during the wedding planning process that you'll never tell your groom?

For me, I'd never tell him that I was NOT happy with Jericho Terrace when we booked. It had none of the things I wanted and I was not pleased in the least. But I put on a brave face because DH loved the place so damn much. Turns out, I would've been eating my words anyway because I came to LOVE JT. What about you?

DH thought I had a lot more homework then I really did.

In reality I was on this website lol, but would tell him I'm doing homework for my online grad school courses.

I think he caught on though lol

Break a Leg
“I had a Bridezilla-style meltdown in the parking lot of the church right before the wedding rehearsal. Usually, I’m laid-back, but I was exhausted from doing all the planning, I hadn’t slept, I was sick of family members asking me dumb questions, and my husband-to-be seemed completely clueless that I was overwhelmed. So I started crying by myself in the car. “He walked over, knocked on the window, and asked me what was wrong. I didn’t want to seem like a whiner, so I lied and told him, ‘I think I sprained my ankle.’ I got out of the car and limped toward the church. Of course, the limp magically disappeared as soon as I walked inside, and he got so swept up in the events that he forgot all about it.” —Tori, 35
